Southern District Agricultural Society Supported By MLT

We were pleased to support the Southern District Agricultural Society with a grant of £5,600 through our Community Awards Programme to help replace the canvas on their main marquee.

The Society, which has been running since 1914, organises the Southern Agricultural Show, a much-loved, non-profit event that celebrates local agriculture, horticulture, small businesses and Manx heritage.

Sarah Kelly, Chairman of Manx Lottery Trust, said: “We’re pleased to support the Society as they carry out essential repairs to their marquee. This will improve safety and help them continue their longstanding work bringing people together and promoting local produce and farming.”
