MANX LOTTERY TRUST TO HELP PROJECTS AT THE FOREFRONT OF COVID-19

It has been agreed by the Trustees of Manx Lottery Trust that all funding decisions made for the next 6 months will be in line with its partners at The National Lottery Community Fund.

This means it will be looking to support projects at the forefront of the Covid-19 pandemic and prioritising getting money to these organisations to best support the Island Community in these challenging times.

Chairman of Manx Lottery Trust Sarah Kelly explained: ‘Through this commitment we hope to be able to benefit the organisations currently under an immense amount of pressure. This might include the likes of the foodbank, homeless charities and causes that combat loneliness and isolation, as well as helping the elderly and projects that support health organisations.

‘The application process will remain unchanged and organisations will still need to complete our Community Awards application form, however the Trustees have agreed to meet more frequently so applicants won’t be waiting too long for a reply.

‘Be reassured that we will continue to honour our current grant commitments and will be flexible with existing grants in terms of end dates.

‘Please continue to stay at home and follow the Isle of Man Government’s advice. We look forward to meeting up with you all when we are able but for now, stay safe everyone.’ For more information, please contact Manx Lottery Trust via email at: [email protected]
