MANX LOTTERY TRUST GRANT FUNDS TO CATHEDRAL COMMUNITY HUB FOR ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES

Manx Lottery Trust is pleased to announce a grant to the Cathedral Quarter Trust for the Cathedral Community Hub, to support the installation of accessible toilets and baby changing facilities as part of their transformative project.

This funding, provided through the Community Awards Programme, is crucial for adapting the Cathedral into a versatile community and arts hub.

The Cathedral Community Hub aims to revitalise the historic building to serve as a venue for various functions, both commercial and private, ensuring its sustainability and continued relevance to the community.

The Very Reverend Nigel Godfrey, Dean & Chair of Trustees of the Cathedral Quarter Trust expressed gratitude for the grant, stating, “We are tremendously grateful to Manx Lottery Trust for awarding us this grant. Completing the accessible toilet area is a priority for us. This facility is essential for ensuring that the building can be fully accessible from day one when we open our doors to the community”

Stephen Turner, Chairman of Manx Lottery Trust, added: “We are proud to support the Cathedral with this grant. Ensuring that the facility is accessible to everyone aligns with our mission to improve communities and support projects that enhance public welfare.
