Manx Lottery Trust Awards Boost to Keep Creativity Flourishing at Erin Arts Centre
Manx Lottery Trust has confirmed a grant of £50,000 to the Erin Arts Centre from The Dormant Assets Fund. Aimed at building a more resilient third sector, the fund encourages organisations to be adaptable, strategic, and sustainable. This funding will be distributed over two years to part-fund the salary of the new Creative Administrator, Louisa Thomas.
A registered charity, the EAC is a local arts centre with an international pedigree, providing a diverse and dynamic programme of events for the Island community.
Pip Rolfe, Creative Director of the Erin Arts Centre, said: ‘We are incredibly thankful to the Manx Lottery Trust for this generous award; it will allow Louisa to continue her invaluable work here. As well as improving our administrative practice, Louisa has developed the EAC's social media and publicity profiles, allowing us to communicate on a level that befits the broad and exciting range of work that we offer. Her skill and dedication have been essential in the continuing evolution of the Centre. This support enables us to plan for the future with confidence and to ensure that we remain a valuable asset to the Manx community.’

The Dormant Assets Fund, which offers grants of up to £75,000, focuses on empowering third-sector organisations to be adaptable, strategic, and sustainable while enhancing their capacity to serve their communities. This grant ensures that the Erin Arts Centre can confidently pursue its mission, enhancing its capacity to deliver exceptional cultural experiences for the Isle of Man.
