THEMATIC FUNDING
The theme for 2025's Thematic Funding is 'Turn The Tide'.
Grants will be available from between £2,501 and £25,000.
WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
The aim of the fund is to support projects which:
- Intervening early to prevent challenges from escalating
- Unlocking opportunities at key life stages
- Fostering resilience, inclusion, health, and wellbeing
- Making proactive, positive differences in people’s lives
WHO CAN APPLY?
You can apply if you are a community group, not for profit group, parish or town council, school or social enterprise.
You do not need to be a registered charity to apply.
You must have a bank account on the Isle of Man that requires at least two people, who are unrelated and do not live at the same address, to sign each cheque or withdrawal.
WHAT YOU CAN APPLY FOR?
Examples for what we might fund:
- early-stage mentoring and skills programmes
- preventative health and wellbeing initiatives
- emotional/mental health/wellbeing initiatives
- resilience-building workshops
- community-led support schemes helping people through transitional life stages.
HOW TO APPLY
Please apply using the Thematic Funding Awards application form, after reviewing the Guidance Notes.
Email the completed form to grants@mlt.org.im by 2nd January 2026. We will let you know our decision in approximately 10 weeks.
